From large-scale fountains to kinetic water features, we design and deliver experiences that stop people in their tracks and keep them there.

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to own complex, highly visible projects from concept through commissioning—ideally someone who understands the pace and complexity of themed entertainment, manufacturing, and engineered systems.

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Project Manager is the internal owner of the project and the primary voice of WET to our clients, client consultants, contractors, and WET’s own consultant partners. You’ll lead cross functional teams (design, engineering, manufacturing, field) to deliver on the project vision within defined scope, schedule, and budget.

You’ll partner closely with our COO and functional department leaders to translate creative vision into executable plans and to keep projects moving, aligned, and financially healthy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the project team to realize the project vision, concept, and story from design through installation and commissioning

  • Own day today project delivery across design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and field execution

  • Ensure scope of services is delivered on time and within budget

  • Manage project contracts: deliverables, milestones, invoicing, and payment tracking in accordance with contract terms

  • Identify scope changes early and lead the Change Order / Variation Order process

  • Negotiate and manage consultant agreements (scope, deliverables, schedule)

  • Collaborate with functional department leaders to create mission plans and execution strategies for each phase

  • Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed project schedules; track progress and adjust as the project unfolds

  • Monitor, track, and analyze project costs; proactively address variances and risks

  • Provide clear, consistent communication with clients and internal stakeholders, including regular status updates and presentations

  • Champion quality, safety, and technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex projects that combine design, engineering, fabrication/manufacturing, and field installation/commissioning

  • Background in themed entertainment, specialty construction, engineered products, manufacturing, or complex architecture projects

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross disciplinary teams (design, engineering, production, field) for at least 7 years

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture strongly preferred (or equivalent technical experience)

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, including with high profile clients and their representatives

  • Skilled in contract and change order / variation order management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to executives, clients, and partners

  • Highly organized, analytical, and comfortable with project cost analytics and forecasting

  • Expert at building and managing project schedules using modern tools; able to adjust and replan as conditions change

  • Self-starter with a proactive, curious, problem solving mindset; comfortable operating with minimal supervision

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools, project management platforms, and collaboration systems

  • Meticulous attention to detail while still keeping an eye on the big picture

Why Join WET

You’ll be at the center of projects that integrate creative storytelling with advanced engineering and fabrication, working with teams that build one-of-a-kind water features and immersive environments around the world. This role offers the opportunity to own complex, visible work from concept through commissioning and to help shape how WET delivers its most ambitious projects.
