Production Manager
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for a team of 40+ employees
- Establish and maintain a problem-solving culture for continuous improvement
- Develop tasks and goals for the assembly department
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and Maintenance departments to implement process and equipment improvements
- Manage, develop, and coach production team members in a fast-paced environment
- Stimulate teamwork and effective communication within the department
- Achieve and maintain world-class on-time delivery standards
- Develop and establish a Visual Factory environment
- Oversee rapid iteration and product development in collaboration with engineering
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an assembly and manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a management role
- Proven track record of managing a fast-paced production area
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and develop team members
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques: A3, Kaizen, VSM
- Experience with TOC (Theory of Constraints) application (Plus)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to improve efficiency and productivity
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes

- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work alongside team members when needed
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively

- Experience in cross-functional team leadership and project management
