Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Painter with automotive experience to join our creative team. In this role, you’ll apply your expertise in surface preparation and finishing to help turn our visionary designs into reality. You’ll work hands-on with our unique devices, ensuring every piece is finished to the highest standards of beauty and durability. Your work will be seen and enjoyed by millions around the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, mask, sand, and prime surfaces for painting on a variety of materials, including metals and composites.

  • Apply high-quality finishes using spray guns and other professional painting equipment, achieving automotive-grade results.

  • Mix and match colors to meet precise design specifications and maintain consistency across projects.

  • Inspect finished surfaces for quality, touch up imperfections, and ensure all work meets WET’s rigorous standards.

  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and fabricators to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations.

  • Assist in the maintenance and calibration of painting equipment.

  • Stay up to date with new painting techniques, materials, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a professional painter, with a strong background in automotive or industrial painting.

  • Expertise in surface preparation, masking, priming, and spraying techniques.

  • Familiarity with a variety of paints, coatings, and finishes, including two-part urethanes and clear coats.

  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to producing flawless, high-quality work.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and color specifications.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

  • Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift as required for the job.
