Behind every great project is a warehouse operation that keeps parts, materials, and assemblies moving with precision. We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor who takes pride in organization, accountability, and making sure every part is exactly where it needs to be, when it needs to be there.
Role Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor will lead day-to-day warehouse operations supporting WET’s fabrication and assembly teams. This person will oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, part tracking, kitting, staging, and logistics coordination for a wide range of custom-manufactured components.
This is a highly visible role for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable owning the systems and processes that keep production running smoothly. You’ll also lead a small warehouse team and work closely with Engineering, Assembly, Production, and other internal partners to keep materials organized, traceable, and ready for use.
What You’ll Do
Oversee warehouse operations with a strong focus on organization, accuracy, and follow-through
Receive, inspect, log, store, and track manufactured parts, raw materials, and project-specific components
Read and interpret BOMs, and partner with Engineering to confirm parts are either fabricated in-house or sourced through Purchasing in time to support production needs
Prepare and maintain shortage reports and escalate them directly to the Head of Supply Chain to ensure issues are visible, prioritized, and resolved quickly
Build and maintain a clear, logical storage system so parts can be found quickly and consistently
Manage kitting, staging, and part issuance to support Assembly and production needs
Coordinate inventory movement, part transfers, and logistics to reduce delays and prevent lost materials
Maintain accurate records in WET’s internal software systems and related tracking tools
Support inventory counts, audits, reconciliation, and reporting
Work closely with Assembly and other internal teams to anticipate upcoming needs and prioritize work accordingly
Lead and support a small warehouse staff, setting expectations and maintaining a strong standard of accountability
Help develop and improve warehouse processes, procedures, and workflows as the operation continues to grow
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe, and operating efficiently at all times
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or materials management, preferably in a manufacturing, fabrication, or project-based environment
Hands-on experience managing parts, assemblies, and materials that must be tracked carefully and stored in an organized way
Strong understanding of receiving, kitting, staging, cycle counts, and part traceability
Experience leading or supervising a small team
Proven ability to work with computer-based inventory or tracking systems and learn new software quickly
Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
A careful, dependable work style with high attention to detail
Ability to solve problems calmly and keep things moving without losing control of the details
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a warehouse environment
Comfort using manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting a shop floor, assembly area, or production team
Background in manufacturing, fabrication, logistics, supply chain, or warehouse leadership
Experience setting up or improving warehouse systems and storage layouts
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field is a plus, but not required
