Where You Fit In
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you’ll help build the critical mechanical systems behind some of the world’s most iconic water features. Your work will directly support the performance, reliability, and quality of the systems that bring WET’s designs to life.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys precision work, takes ownership, and understands that every component matters.
What You’ll Do
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and assembly instructions
Assemble complex mechanical, robotic, and mechatronic systems used in WET features
Stage, prep, and install hardware, lighting, cables, control panels, and related components to specification
Use torque wrenches, hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately
Chase and repair threads using taps and related tooling
Perform mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks with attention to detail and quality
Test assemblies, verify proper operation, and identify any issues before release
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow shop procedures and safety standards
Support continuous improvement efforts and take on additional assignments as needed
Work collaboratively with fabrication, engineering, and production teammates to keep projects moving
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience in a production, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
You are comfortable working in a busy shop setting and around tools, equipment, and moving parts
You can read engineering drawings and basic schematics with confidence
You pay close attention to detail and understand the impact that fit, alignment, and finish have on performance in the field
You are dependable, proactive, and take pride in producing quality work
You work well with others, communicate clearly, and are willing to learn and cross-train
You can lift up to 50 lbs and are comfortable standing for extended periods
You are open to overtime and occasional weekend work when project schedules require it
